The NINO pattern allows you to make harem style shorts and pants with an elastic waist and french seam finishes for durability. The design is made so the child can move comfortably and is also cloth nappy friendly with its oversize fit at the hip.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS Mid-weight to heavy-weight linen, cotton twill, silk noil, double gauze, cotton flannel, flannelette, wool suiting fabrics and any soft, natural woven non-stretch fabrics with a good drape. PDF SEWING PATTERN Please note: This pattern contains two files. A Print At Home file and a Copy Shop file. If using Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can choose to print only the size you need by selecting the corresponding layer. The Copy Shop file can be printed at any printing store onto a large piece of paper. This specific file fit onto an A0 paper or US equivalent. Remember to measure the check square at the store before you go home to make sure your pattern has been printed correctly. The Print At Home file can be printed at home with any standard printer true to size at scale 100% and orientation “Auto”. It contains 16 pages that you need to assemble by cutting the margins and taping the pages together following the numbers indicated on each page. This file suits both A4 and US Letter printers. If making the pants only, print pages 1 to 10. If making the shorts only, print page 1 and 6 then page 11 to 16. Remember to measure the test square to ensure your pattern has been printed at the correct scale.
